In the art and web design area, I have posting my experiments and class projects as I develop my skills in this area.
The web can be a very public forum, and it is sometimes difficult to post work which is in progress.
Nonetheless, because I am a believer in the importance of process and interaction, these pages will remain, even as I develop more polished skills.

daydreaming educational web designs is the dream project of kayla garelick. She founded daydreaming in order to create educational communities for special learners, to promote the use of web technologies by women and girls, and to help other educators create a new kind of educational experience.
kayla believes that children learn best when actively engaged in project based work, when working from their strengths, utilizing their particular learning styles, and interacting with others with diverse approaches to creative problem solving. The web presents a unique environment where authentic learning can take place.
kayla garelick is a web designer and an educator committed to using the web to create interactive and authentic educational experience for gifted, learning disabled and attentionally challenged children.
